Google logo @ Xkcd's Randall Munroe
Chris DiBona has released a nice scanned version of the xkcd styled Google logo. I think Google should use that as their logo :)

Google's Android mobile platform
It looks like Google has done a very smart move. Though, at lwn.net there is a discussion about the reasons for Google's move. It will certainly be interesting to see how this evolves and how many mobile phones we'll see that uses it.
I've looked forward to OpenMoko, but I must say I worry a bit about the future of OpenMoko and Trolltechs Qtopia too. I wouldn't be surprised if the community and eco-system around Android soon becomes many times bigger than OpenMoko and Qtopia together.

More on the Google vs Viacom case
Google has written brief reply to an op-ed by a Viacom layer. I completely agree with Google's stance on this, Viacom's got no case and I hope they lose it.
